JD Flynn is the editor-in-chief of Catholic News Agency, a media apostolate of EWTN, covering the news of the world from a perspective of faith. He previously served served as Special Assistant to Bishop James Conley in the Diocese of Lincoln, and as chancellor of the Archdiocese of Denver. JD serves as a canonical consultant to dioceses and religious communities, and as a consultant to committees of the USCCB. His work has appeared in First Things, National Review, the National Catholic Register, and in various canonical and Catholic publications.
JD has a Juris Canonici Licentiate from the Catholic University of America, and Master’s degree in theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville. JD and his wife Kate live in Lincoln, Nebraska with their children, Max, Pia and Davey.
