Catholics among those receiving Australia’s highest honours
A number of Catholics have been honoured in the 2025 Australia Day awards including the late Kevin Andrews, who was made a Member of the Order of Australia, and chair of the Chair of the National Appeals and Reviews Panel with Australian Catholic Safeguarding Ltd, Duncan Kerr, who was appointed an Officer of the Order of Australia.
