The St Vincent de Paul Society’s NSW CEO says an acute housing crisis and costs of living are forcing record numbers of people to seek help for the first time while the charity itself is under increasing financial pressure.

Tonight, I will participate in the 2024 CEO Winter Sleepout in order to help meet the needs of homeless people. For me, this is a practical way of putting my faith into action. The sleepout is a good cause because it gives very practical help to those in need by raising money and community awareness.

The 15th annual Vinnies CEO sleepout will be taking place on 18 June, as organisers decide to push forward with the event despite the COVID-19 Pandemic.
