On 14 November, hundreds descended on St Mary’s Cathedral Forecourt for the annual 2025 Street Feast. Paula Nicolas, founder and president of the St Merkorious Charity, also received a medal for years of service providing food for the homeless.

This is the edited text for the homily for the Solemn Mass of the 14th Sunday in Ordinary Time (Year C) + Dempsey medal. 

Archbishop Anthony Fisher OP has presented the 2025 Dempsey Medal recipients with their medals, recognising their decades of service to the church in their parishes.
