The vision for Eucharist28 is one of biblical proportions: Catholics from every nation, language and rite united in procession before Christ in the Eucharist. But if Sydney is to host such a moment of renewal, preparation must begin now.

A new online workshop is helping Sydney's Catholic communities bring ancient tradition to their streets - just in time for Eucharist28.

Didaskō, a structured Catholic formation program offered through the Sydney Centre for Evangelisation's parish renewal team, draws on the best educators and university lecturers from the University of Notre Dame Australia (UNDA). Didaskō, from the Greek, meaning "to teach", delivers rigorous, accessible, faith formation directly to parishes and homes across the Archdiocese of Sydney.

Temptation rarely appears as obvious evil. It presents itself as a perceived good, and the real question beneath it is whether we will say, ‘My will be done,’ or ‘Thy will be done.’

The first in a series of Eucharistic adoration formation sessions brought parishioners, acolytes and cantors from across the south-west deanery for an evening of theology, history, music and adoration, centred on the Eucharist, to St Christopher’s Catholic Church in Holsworthy on 4 March.
