From Umbria to Berrima, St Rita still inspires
St Rita had a difficult life—with ill health, an abusive marriage, and the death of her children—yet her perseverance in faith is inspiring many today, including Richard and Joanna Andary. They have built a mini-shrine for the saint at Penrose Park in the NSW southern highlands and host hundreds of pilgrims each year on her 22 May feast day.
