A record-breaking fundraising tally was just one highlight at an annual dinner dance hosted by Sydney-based charity Somascan Missions. The evening for more than 650 guests held in Condell Park on 14 February showcased many life-changing successes since the last annual fundraiser.

Priests, parishioners and parliamentarians were among the hundreds who showed their support for the poor by attending the Somascan Missions Dinner Dance. It raised more than $347,000 at Liverpool’s Macquarie Paradiso on 21 February.
Somascan “Run 4 Somkids” raises $13k for orphans
Families gather in Sydney West for Run 4 Somkids, a fun run to raise funds for orphaned children under the care of the Somascan Fathers as well as to raise awareness on the benefits of exercise on the mind, body and the soul.
